aw georgetown,

ugh i’m absolutely smitten with one of the associate program directors for the program I’ll be doing.  he called me today to tell me he’s so happy that I’ll be joining the program.

I also love that it’s small (I believe 15-20 people is their goal) so the faculty all know your name and your deep dark secrets or fibs you wrote on your personal statement.  I mean, the only part I embellished on my personal statement was you know, “I wanna be an overweight government bureaucrat after I get this degree” spiel but I still have no clue what I want to do, so that’s my default answer.
